Scuba diving equipment
Humans are not natural underwater inhabitants. Before we can venture into a marine environment we must gather some necessary scuba diving equipment. If you're not sure of the exact equipment you need, you can go online and search for the information. In addition, the place where you took lessons should provide this equipment or at least a list of resources.
Everyone remembers to buy a wetsuit. Wetsuits are cool looking and also protect your from extreme temperatures and minor bites from small creatures. This is one piece of scuba diving equipment that you don't want to buy in any condition. Your wetsuit needs to fit comfortably and it needs to be in very good condition. If you purchase a used wetsuit, make sure you inspect it to ensure there are no tears or splits in the suit.
A tank is essential because we were created to breath air instead of water. Working in conjunction with the tank is the snorkel. This is useful when you are above water because you can breathe through the snorkel instead of using the air in your tank. If you want to be able to view underwater marine life clearly (and I'm sure you do), a mask provides the visibility you need. If you have a plastic mask that you purchased for swimming in a pool, it probably is not suitable for scuba diving. Masks for scuba diving include special features such as double lenses, metal parts, and silicone face plates. All of these features provide the best visibility possible for underwater diving.
When you're in deep waters you're going to need a good pair of fins. When you are shopping for fins, you want to look for those designed specifically for scuba diving. Other fins, such as those for swimming or snorkeling are not suitable for scuba diving. You will exert a significant amount of energy to move yourself through the water and so you need fins that can help reduce the amount of energy you need by providing propulsion.
You want to also remember to add a first aid and repair kit to your list of scuba diving equipment. This is necessary in case any of your equipment stops functioning properly or you become injured while diving.
